Welcome to my Physics Site

This site exists because I have what I hope are some real contributions to Physics.  Only one of them has anything to do with the contents of http://www.SocialTechnology.ca/, my main site: there I model the global social network in a which which treats observables, including people, as transformations.  In Physics it is also possible to develop complete theories and do experiments without formal use of the self-adjoint matrices used to represent observables in Quantum Mechanics.  Instead, these matrices can be factored using the Singular Value Decomposition into the product of two unitary and one diagonal matrix. The diagonal matrix just represents physical constants, while the unitary matrices can be used in the usual way: Quantum Mechanics uses unitary matrices to represent transformations.  So, self-adjoint matrices and the observables they represent do not need to be a part of theoretical physics at all.

On my Math site, http://Math.SocialTechnology.ca/ I will include articles about what I think of as a missing branch of mathematics, one which has an immediate application to Physics.  Some of that material will appear here, too.
